Great value, quality knives!

My Xinzuo Cutlery order arrived yesterday, and I'm really happy with the Steak Knife Set. The knives feel solid and cut beautifully. I just wish the tracking link had been a bit more intuitive to find on the site, but once I got it, delivery was quick. Definitely a good buy, especially with the discount code I used!

Decent quality, minor issue

I purchased a Gyuto Knife and a Honing Steel. The Gyuto knife itself is very sharp and the Damascus pattern looks great. It arrived in about ten days, which was reasonable for shipping from overseas. My only small gripe is that the Honing Steel felt a bit lighter than I expected; it still works, but I think a heavier one would feel more substantial. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about tracking, so that was good. Overall, a solid value for the quality of the main knife.

Good knife, fast shipping

I ordered a Damascus Steel Chef Knife. It arrived quickly, within a week. The knife is sharp and handles well. Happy with the purchase. Will use them again for kitchen tools.

Great value on a Santoku

I was looking for a good Santoku knife without spending a fortune. I found Xinzuo during their holiday sale, I think it was around 20% off. The price was really good compared to other brands I looked at, especially for a 67-layer Damascus blade. Shipping took about two weeks to my place in California, which was expected. The knife is sharp and well-made. I feel like I got a really good deal and the quality is definitely there. Worth every penny I paid.

Got a Paring Knife

Needed a new paring knife so I checked out Xinzuo. Ordered a basic one. It came in a decent amount of time, like a week and a half. It's sharp enough for what I need it for, peeling fruit and stuff. Nothing fancy, just a solid knife. The handle feels fine. Good experience overall, no complaints.

Are these knives comparable to something like Shun? Or am I just paying for a fancy look with Xinzuo?

A Amber Osei 1 month ago
They're different, but in a good way. My Miyabi is super thin, Xinzuo feels a bit more robust and still incredibly sharp. For the money, Xinzuo is a fantastic value, really high quality materials.

I've got both a Xinzuo and a Shun Classic. Honestly, for the price, Xinzuo holds up really well. The edge retention on my chef knife is surprisingly good. Shun is a bit more refined maybe, but the Xinzuo is a solid performer.

Hey, thinking of getting a chef knife from here. Are these really legit Damascus steel, or is it just etched? Don't want to get scammed.

L Lisa 1 month ago
Nah, they're legit. I got a Gyuto a few months ago and the layering is definitely real. You can feel it, not just a pattern.

Mine too. Real deal Damascus. You can find videos online of people sharpening them and the layers are still there, so not just etched on.

Is there usually a first order discount or like a newsletter signup thing? Trying to save a few bucks if I can.

M Mia Nguyen 2 months ago
Yeah, I think I got 10% off when I signed up for their emails. Just pop your email in and they usually send a code pretty quick.

They always have some kind of deal going on, especially for first-timers. Check the site, usually a pop-up or something. And Black Friday/Cyber Monday is when they do bigger sales, like 20-30% off.

How long does shipping usually take to New York? Need a Father's Day gift and don't want it to arrive super late.

P Priya 2 months ago
It ships from China, so it's not super fast. I'd say give it at least 2-3 weeks, maybe a bit more. Ordered my Santoku in April and it took about 18 days to get to me in California.

Yeah, definitely not Amazon Prime fast. I think they say 10-20 business days on their site somewhere. So if you need it for Father's Day, you might be cutting it close depending on when that is.
